Kumora and Melody are non identical twins. They are currently in foster placement with their elder sister Jessica who is 9 years old. They are playful, curious active girls with lots of energy. Both girls have made excellent progress and their overall health and development is good. |
||
| Ideally, we are seeking a family, who reflects the twins ethnicity. We will consider those families who closely reflect their heritage or feel able to actively promote and encourage their identity. | ||

Kumora is the largest of the twins. She is a healthy child with a good appetite. She was placed in foster care with her sister when she was two months old and has formed good attachments there. Kumora was crawling at 10 months and walking at 12 months. Kumora is a happy toddler who enjoys singing, dancing and looking at books. She is sociable and vocal and enjoys giving and receiving cuddles. |

|
Melody is the smaller of the twins although she is the older one. Melody is a happy child who knows her name and immediately turns when she is being called. She is weary of strangers and gives an intent stare with a very serious facial expression when someone new comes near her. Melody was quiet and placid when she first entered foster care but has flourished over the last year and now has age appropriate social skills, enjoying interaction with familiar people. She can say a few recognisable words and understands simple instructions. |

| Indirect twice annual letterbox contact is envisaged with the children's birth mother. Direct contact is envisaged with the twins older 3 siblings who are currently placed in foster care but for whom adoption is also the plan. | ||
